EDUCATION

Since its establishment, the Assyrian Foundation has provided financial assistance to schools and cultural groups in the Middle East. In the United States, and abroad, we have expended substantial amounts of money to students based on academic merit , area of studies and/or financial need.

Our donations change every year but our goal is to always assist students with their studies. The education fund is decided by the board members in the start of the year.

Please download the following form and email it back to the Education Chair Maha Hermes at maha_hermes@yahoo.com by the deadline date of JUNE 30TH. Applications are reviewed and decisions will be made in the beginning of July. Students are notified shortly after.

Please note that we welcome donations that are specifically to education. Your contribution will go directly to an Assyrian student and support their studies.

With respect to promoting education and Assyrian authors, we have regularly held lectures by guest speakers on Assyrian topics, and also held classes for teaching the Assyrian language.
